The larger the display the more noticeable also. I have a 100" screen
with a hd projector. Even at 720p you feel like you are there. I will
most likely continue to be a bluray customer even though at times I
would like to boycott. On 2010-03-18, the following emerged from the brain of Snit:
It's really funny to see you defending one of the most stupid trolls
in this newsgroup. Let's keep this up.
His 'view' (I have a hard time calling it that) is that Linux is
closed source. How he comes to that conclusion is irrelevant. Read it for yourself below.
Look at the huge influence a handful of programmers have--and the
inordinate influence Red Hat has in the 'signing off' process--36.4%
of the total.
De facto, Linux is not open source. Sure, anybody can read the source
code, but corporate policy forbids Microsoft employees from commenting

OK, been playing with both and have to say, GIMP is far ahead in the area of
making favicons. Easy to make multi-sized ones... I assume it can be done
in Photoshop with some plugin or whatever but cannot find how. Heck,
without a plugin Photoshop cannot even make a single-sized favicon.
Photoshop comes as part of the web design suites... it *should* have this.

Wrong. Either you have security, or you don't. Microsoft updates,
sometimes weekly patches. Linux apparently waits until a 'concensus'
forms, with who knows how many programmers, but primarily Red Hat (see
the OP) leading the way, and then issues a patch. Which is more
secure--weekly patches or 'when consensus forms'? I vote for the

Google gives away a couple Gigs/person.
Programming is costly, and you also have to make it work on at least three
platforms.
So is paying the royalty.
So you think the trend will always be in that direction, then.
